PUBLIC ART:
LONG BEACH TRANSIT MALL, Long Beach, California. The area consists of 3000 square feet and 4 blocks of LithoMosaics depicting the life one finds on a beach walk. I was part of the team of artists led by Robin Brailsford and responsible for the designs of the mosaics. I handcut 35 different designs with layers of colored paper . These were converted to mosaics by Robin Brailsford and Wick Alexander. Commissioned, designed and installed in one calendar year – 2010. Funded by a Federal Economic Stimulous Grant, $4 million overall project budget. Grand opening June 2011.
