Inspired by artists around the world doing their bit to raise awareness and funds, I'm starting a project called 'First gift'. On the 1st of every month for the rest of 2017, I'll be putting up for sale a small piece of art and donate 100% of the proceeds to groups and organizations.

This month I am proud to support PANA (Partnership for the Advancement of New Americans) whose mission is to promote the fair treatment and equitable inclusion of refugee communities using organizing to achieve collective impact and policy change. I was fortunate to attend an evening of art, poetry, and stories told by courageous and beautiful refugees in San Diego. Organized by PANA, the evening was full of talented poets and performers whose voices need to be heard over and over again.100% of proceeds from the sale of this art will be donated to PANA.
